When you renew your Uber Private Hire policy, Uber can sometimes decline the new motor certificate if the start date is not today, and threaten to block the account.
As you have a current live policy, there is nothing we can do to assist as the start date on the renewal document will be correct.
Uber will only upload certificates for the correct day, this is Uber's standard practice and something that every driver faces.
We are unable to change the date as the current policy will still be valid.
Uber have a window where they will deactivate customers, around 5/6 pm the night before and they will need the new certificate to start again the following day. Again this is a process that nearly all drivers go through and most drivers will take the night off e.g tonight so they are not in this situation during the transition period.
As this process rests with Uber, any issues around this are out of our hands, so you will need to contact Uber directly.
You must also ensure that the information you provide Uber and INSHUR match on BOTH platforms, for example, your email address and vehicle registration details. If the details do not match, this can result in a rejection of your renewal cert.
